Cameron Workshop - jungle trekking

We went hiking on one of the mossy forests at Tanah Rata. It was marvellous to see so many types of beautiful mosses and ferns. It seems this moss plays an important role in retaining water in catchment areas. However, sadly this type of forest is under threat due to global warming & deforestation.
So, what was the experience ?? Certain part of the trail was narrow & slippery. After an unexpected fall I was extra careful while climbing or going down the slope .For me it was a bit congested & couldn't fully enjoy looking at the beautiful plants . It was also quite annoying when someone in front of you kept stopping and busy talking and snapping their personal photos. They eventually blocking those at the back from listening to the explanation given by the coordinator.

Actually before the exploration ,the coordinator asked us to look out for the uniqueness of the mossy forest. If we were observant we could see different types of wild orchids , wild mushroom, birds, pitcher plants and insects. But to some these were not their main concerns as you could see they were busy checking whether there was any phone lines , chatting & wondering when they could go shopping as they intended to buy a lot of veggies , strawberries & souvenirs !! Mmmmm.....Cikgu o cikgu !!
